What hardware should I use for my kitchen cabinets?

InDesign is often asked about what the best hardware is for cabinets. Being an authorized dealer for many top line hardware brands, it’s a topic we gauge consistently and keep a pulse on. There are many choices in hardware, and it’s important to pick the right type for your cabinets. The most popular hardware for cabinets is entirely dependent on the style your kitchen or bathroom employs, as well as existing accents in the space. Another factor is how bold you’re willing to go, with some companies testing the boundaries of weird through new collections of things like puzzle piece and leather strap knobs. Whatever your taste, we have a plethora of new hardware become available every year. Some do better than others, but there’s certainly options for any style you’re looking to pursue. Here is a list of our newest and most popular styles and collections.

Annadale

A wide and square cup pull with a pillow-esq top accent make this Jeffery Alexander brand hardware a best seller amongst our Alpharetta customers. This collection offers three pull sizes, two cup pull options, and two knob options to mix and match. Available in multiple finishes like classic Satin Nickel, Gun Metal, Matte Black, and Oil Rubbed Bronze, this collection finds its home in traditional, rustic, and transitional design schemes.

Naples Solid Steel

Our newest style is called Naples Solid Steel. One of the many trending collections under Elements, this cylindrical bar pull from Naples has a transcendent design, conforming to several cabinet styles. Use a 19-1/2″ overall length bar pull to seamlessly update cabinets and furniture and add a modern feel to your room, or a 5-3/8″ pull to accentuate a craftsman kitchen. These easy-to-hold pulls and corresponding T knobs fit any drawer or door for a cohesive overall design and come in six finishes.

Renzo cabinet pulls and knobs

Renzo is a newer collection of cabinet pulls and knobs also from Jeffery Alexander. The thoughtful balance of sleek lines with a boldly stepped profile in the Renzo hardware equates to a strong and elegant presence. This rectangular knob pairs beautifully with the collection’s modern square shaped cup pull giving a unique and adaptable face to your cabinetry. Renzo does this while adding functionality with its dual hole mounting options and five center-to-center choices. Choose from seven top trending finishes to complete the look of your space.

Edgefield cabinet tabs

Edgefield is a new design that we at InDesign are excited about. The hardware’s style and modern usability is reverse engineering kitchen design to no longer want pulls that look good with your cabinets, but cabinets that look good with your pulls. Most commonly paired with inset cabinets, we’ve already had customers put the brakes on their cabinet design and switch styles after discovering the Edgefield pull. Available in 1-1/4″ to 12″ overall length and four stylish finishes. This series is the ideal choice for a contemporary flair in southern homes.

Sanctuary II Collection

These pulls are a consistent hit among our customers in the Johns creek area. With a more ambiguous look, these pulls can be contemporary, modern, or simply a classy twist for traditional schemes. The Sanctuary collection includes many kinds of knobs and pulls with novel use of slots that help the functionality of the hardware, as well as offering a more modern vibe. Appliance pulls are also an option under Sanctuary II. Appliance pulls are long pulls that fit close to the entire size of the cabinet face without overpowering the look of a kitchen. Sanctuary II arched knobs and pulls look almost medieval; especially with a rustic finish like oil rubbed bronze or antique pewter.
